Bio
Karin Friedrich Donaldson immigrated to the United States from Germany with her family at the end of World War II. She’ll never forget the day American Army trucks rolled into her village and GIs tossed Hershey bars to the children running after the Jeeps. She can taste that Hershey's bar to this day. Karin’s love of writing began while reading to her four grandchildren. She’s a member of SCBWI [Society of Children’s Book Writers and Illustrators] and Children’s Book Insider. Her careers include stockbroker, pastor, and grief counselor. Karin regularly attends writing classes and seminars and has been published in Chicken Soup for the Soul and Oasis Journal.
