We’ve talked about covers and their importance in several of our presentations and workshops. In this presentation, we’ll concentrate on the main elements of your cover and the importance of each.
When it comes to attracting readers, the two most important things are your book cover and its description. In that order.
The cover of your book is the key attraction device. It should pull the reader’s eyes to your book. This can be accomplished using the elements we’ll go over.
But good titles and cover pictures should also immediately raise a question and provide a hook: What is this book really about?
Whether you do your own covers or have someone create them for you you’ll still want to make sure the important elements are there and it does what it’s intended to do – Sell your books.
