We are pleased to announce that our February membership meeting will be in person at the Serra Mesa-Kearny Mesa Library at 9005 Aero Drive, San Diego. We've had to adjust our schedule from the usual fourth Monday evening to the fourth Saturday, February 22, from 10:00 until 11:30 a.m.
The program will be interactive, with members practicing pitches for their works-in-progress or projects still being developed, a follow-up on Jonathan Maberry's October 2024 workshop on Pitching and Selling Your Novel.
To prepare for the event, consider reviewing the recording of Jonathan's workshop. His discussion and example of a pitch are 1 hour and 20 minutes into the recording.
Reviewing the class notes for Jonathan's workshop may also be useful. Check out his tips, "#8-Verbal Pitches" on page 15.
Note that recordings are only accessible by members when they are logged in. If you are not already a Guild member, consider joining now to get access to the recording of Jonathan's workshop.
We'll be serving coffee and donuts as well.
