Audio Books make up 25% of the reading market.

Debbie Wastling will offer marketing suggestions for those on how to record on audio and where you can place your writing. She will also help you find good voice actors. We hope to have one visit us in March to talk about how you, as the writer, might audition them if you feel you cannot record yourself. 

Here's what we'll cover:

• Recording your book or/ and finding a voice actor.
• How to increase audio-book sales through wide distribution, i.e., Author's Republic, Audible, and other sites for free
• Strategies to boost sales on individual retailers, i.e., promotions
• Answer your questions about recording and promoting your audio book.

Debbie is the author of 3 published historical novels set in the UK. The Flying Scotsman Sings, The Soundtrack of Their Lives, and new in April  - The Sutherland Scandals. She teaches writing and has been a theater director with over 60 productions to her name. She has written teaching books, adapted Shakespeare and Dickens for the stage,written poetry and songs. She is a member of the SDWEG and Historical Novel Society.
